Our Fleet

PA38 - Piper Tomahawk

The 2 seater PA38 is used for the majority of our training. It is the perfect training aeroplane!

PA34 - Piper Seneca II

The Seneca is the big brother of the Piper family. This twin engine aircraft can carry 6 passengers. It features a full glass cockpit as well as variable pitch propellers - the perfect twin for training!

E200 - Extra 200

The highly versatile Extra 200 is a fully certified aerobatic aircraft, used on our UPRT-A courses.

P28A - Piper Warrior

The Piper Warrior is one of the best known aeroplanes in the world. This 4 seater aircraft allows you to cruise at reasonable speed in comfort.

FNPT I Simulator (PA34)

Our FNPT I simulator, which is a real Seneca shell, allows pilots to get used to our aircraft avoinics on the ground, for a fraction of the cost!

FNPT II Simulator (A320)

Our FNPT II simulator, an Airbus A320, is due to be with us in November 2022! This will be used for our APS/MCC/JOC courses!

P28U - Piper Arrow IV

The upgraded version of the P28A! It features a 200 HP engine, retractable landing gear, and a variable pitch prop. It even has a glass cockpit!

About Ravenair

Meet The Team

Jeff Nuttall

Jeff Nuttall is our Head of Training. Jeff founded Ravenair in the early 1980s, whilst working as a captain for a major UK airline. He later retired from commercial flying and now focuses on running Ravenair.

Luke Collister

Luke is our Chief Flying Instructor. Luke has been with the company since 2019, after he finished training with us. Whilst at Ravenair, he has worked as a flying instructor, AOC pilot, AOC examiner, and finally Chief Flying Instructor.

Sam Schoneveld

Sam is our Deputy Chief Flying Instructor. After bush flying in Africa, Sam fancied a new challenge and starting working in Ravenair on our AOC. Over the last year, Sam has been putting his instructor rating to good use by helping run the Flying School.
